Triund Hill Heaven

Triund Hill Heaven July 2012

Triund 2012

Triund Hill Heaven for Nature lovers and trekkers. Dare to follow a moderate trek up to Triund of 9km at an approximate height of 10,000 feet from sea level and stand face to face with semi-immortal, mighty yet humble Dhauladhar mountain range of Himalayas. Spend one night in Forest Department Rest House in Triund and on next day start another trek to Snowline and Lahesh Caves. Put up tents in cave and eat whatever is available and experience nomadic life for one night.  Get up early in the morning and start your trek to Indrahar Pass of Mighty Dhauladhar after reaching the Pass stay up for a while and have view of amazing horizon and Triund from the heights of Dhauladhar. Start your retreat for Snowline café and then back to Triund Guest House by evening. Spend another night in Triund Hill and in the morning climb down to McLeodganj.

Appeal of Triund 2012

Appeal of Triund 2012

The summer is here and the heat is going to hit its highest point down in the plains and the cities……and 90% of the people will be going to the hill stations and many other cooler regions for summer holidays, plus of course will be coming to Dharamsala and trek to Triund and other mountains passes or peaks around and in Dev Bhumi Himachal….so we wish all of you great time and request all not to throw the garbage on the trails of  the mountains and over the mountain peaks instead dispose off them at the designated points…enjoy the beauty of Nature and give credit to Nature by keeping Nature CLEAN  :)

Triund 2012 February

Triund 2012 February this time there was very heavy snow fall in Triund and treks to

Triund Hill

were covered under thick snow for about at least two month and even the Forest Department Rest House was also closed. Even in January 30th we could trek only up Magic View Café and beyond the cafe the treks were still covered under 3 foot thick snow and even trek up to Magic View Café was dangerously slippery. Mr Joginder the owner of Magic View Café had removed some of snow up to café and made it accessible.
